Papa Roach continue with their phenomenal success by returning to Raleigh with the Who Do You Trust Tour 2019 in support of their new album “Who Do You Trust?”; which released in January 2019. Earlier this week, the Californian rockers hit the stage in Raleigh at Red Hat Amphitheater to perform in front of thousands of fans at this outdoor venue.
The Who Do You Trust Tour features supporting acts Bad Wolves and Asking Alexandria, both of which bring something unique to this tour.
Bad Wolves is a supergroup made up of John Boecklin (ex-Devildriver), vocalist Tommy Vext (Divine Heresy, Snot) as well as guitarists Doc Coyle (ex-God Forbid), Chris Cain (Bury Your Dead) and bassist Kyle Konkiel (ex-In This Moment). The 2018 breakout band of the year found their success early on with their cover of "Zombie" (The Cranberries cover song), but with their second full length album on the way, they have plenty of other promising original music that is brought to another level in their energetic and loud live performance.
Asking Alexandria, the British metalcore veterans have morphed their sound over the years and have now become one of the top rising heavy rock acts. Their new sound is still heavy and they still have those catchy hooks and riffs, but the lyrics from vocalist Danny Worsnop are more mature and they're able to appeal to that larger audience. This is not the first time Asking Alexandria has toured with Papa Roach, it's not even the first time they're together in 2019, and it's not even the last!
The constant touring together with Papa Roach is really opening up a new audience for Asking Alexandria, even though they have been around long enough to pull their own crowds.
The Who Do You Trust Tour has really just begun and there are still many dates left to catch these bands together.
