Palaye Royale is a band that hovers under the radar, but it is most likely because they're about a decade late to the party. With an aesthetic mixing My Chemical Romance's "The Black Parade" and Panic! At The Disco's "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," Palaye Royale would have been a huge hit in 2005-2007 when MC and Panic! were fronting the alternative-rock scene.

Don't get me wrong, by no means is this band stuck in the past and out of date. Their sound is a fresh take on the music so many loved as teenagers. And I really think, if everyone that was so caught up on My Chemical Romance having a reunion took the time to listen to this band they would explode and be right up their with some of the current top alternative-rock bands. Currently, they only have about a week left on their current tour with I See Stars and Crown The Empire. If you're in the path of this tour, head out early and catch their set. It's entertaining and only fitting that they play a My Chemical Romance cover.
