The Faim is a group of high-school friends that decided to give music a shot, and well, here they are on their first full US tour. The group of four are just a few years into their career as a band and they've put themselves onto the fast track to success. They've already worked with incredible artists like Pete Wentz (Fall Out Boy), Mark Hoppus (blink-182), Josh Dun (Twenty One Pilots), and Ashton Irwin (5 Seconds of Summer) to put together their debut EP and these are the songs they've been playing across the US this Fall.

The Faim isn't taking on the states alone though. They are in good company for their first adventure in the states with Hands Like Houses, Emarosa, Devour The Day, and Arlington; and the tour continues through mid-December.

Like everyone else in the room, this was my first time seeing The Faim and they didn't disappoint (not like I had any expectations anyways). They have sound that blends pop-punk, rock, and pop; and it's a mix that works. There are catchy choruses that are still repeating in my head and there are some very obvious influences of heavier music styles. Although the crowd was still relatively small, but growing, the vocalist really tried to get everyone involved by jumping off stage and climbing over the barricade to interact with the crowd and pump some life into everyone.

The bassist pulled double-duty on the keyboard and the guitarist would stand on the edge of the stage with a big grin on his face as he looked out at the people singing along or realizing they just found their new favorite band.

The band's debut EP Summer Is A Curse release just in September and they'll be touring for well into 2019. After their trek through the states, The Faim will be heading back home to Australia for a short tour before jetting to the UK and Europe. This band is already going places and will likely be opening up for some pretty big bands in 2019.

The debut EP Summer Is A Curse is AVAILABLE NOW
