Frenship and Yoke Lore in Raleigh NC

Yoke Lore is the brainchild of former “Walk The Moon” drummer Adrian Galvin, who has been creating music under the name since 2016. Bursting onto the indie-pop scene with the song, “Hold Me Down”, Yoke Lore has since followed up a handful of singles with the EP, “Goodpain”.

Yoke Lore’s live performance, while gentle and simplistic, is captivating to watch. Utilizing a banjo, as well as drums and samples performed by a touring drummer, Yoke Lore manages to secure his audience with powerful vocal performances and lyrics that manage to be relatable yet personal.

Frenship is a duo that started in Los Angeles, California, when the two met in 2013. They caught wind in the Indie Pop scene with the explosion of their single, “Capsize.” Since then they've put out a handful of singles as well as an EP, “Truce”.

While the duo may handle the production and mixing in the studio, three other touring members help bring their electronic, synth pop songs to life on stage. While their singles have a sort of peacefulness to them, their live show is much more loud and energetic in the best possible way. With a mix of songs new and old, Frenship played a memorable show that will please fans of the band as well as win over newcomers who are experiencing the duo’s songs for the first time. Do yourself a favor and catch Frenship when they play in a city near you.
