This summer the New York City-based band, The Rad Trads, shared two new songs off of their upcoming full length album On Tap. Those songs, "Good Luck Unto Ya" and "Wishing Well", are perfect glimpses into the full album as this groovy, jazzy, rock blend becomes the perfect late summer jam.

"On Tap" is a nine-track blend of influences that shows off the potential of the wide variety of talent that this band has. The five-piece reveal their passion for arrangement and orchestration, introducing a sea of horns, harmonies, gritty grooves, and psychedelic guitar textures. Songs like "Thumbtack" and "The Little Pie Blues" share a nod towards their playful use of acoustic instruments while the lead singles "Good Luck Unto Ya" and "Wishing Well" make for brilliant opening and closing tracks on the album. "My Place" and "Key Club" highlight the diversity the band has grown to embrace while contagious fun-loving nature shines throughout. 

"Vada Via" is one of my favorite tracks off of this album with its slow and rhythmic start that goes right into an infectious "vada via, vada via, vada via" chorus. That chorus repeats in my head for hours, it's so catchy.
