Troye Sivan will be stopping in Charlotte, NC on October 2nd! Youtuber turned pop-star will be playing a show at the Charlotte Metro Credit Union in support of his recently released album, “Bloom”. The album was released on August 31st of this year and has received rave reviews from both critics and his fanatical fanbase. Opening for Troye Sivan on this leg of “The Bloom Tour” will be Kim Petras, who is currently working on her debut album.

Alongside his musical abilities, Troye is well known for his work in the LGBTQ+ community, helping to normalize and end stereotypes that come alongside being in same-sex relationships. He has made it a point to feature same-sex couples in a majority of his music videos, stating that the portrayal of these characters is important in normalizing the culture and making it a standard for future generations. With the LGBTQ+ playing such an important role in Troye Sivan’s life, touring with Kim Petras, a transgender who originally received attention in the media for transitioning at a young age, seems like a match made in heaven for fans. This tour is seeming to be a culmination of all the achievements Troye Sivan has accomplished so far at the young age of 23, and will be an event fans will not want to miss.
