Talking about going to see Bowling For Soup, most people would just look at you like you're crazy. Adding "the band that did 1985," and now everyone knows who you're talking about. Well, on a beautiful Sunday night, everyone inside Lincoln Theatre knew exactly who you're talking about when you mention Bowling For Soup.
With a packed house of, early 2000's, pop-punk loving fans; Direct Hit and Runaway Kids had no problem getting the crowd going. Both bands expressed their appreciation to BFS for taking them out on tour and their excitement to go home and rest.
Bowling For Soup is just as goofy as people as the lyrics in their songs. Their set was filled with all of their classics and every song was a huge sing-a-long party, especially during "High School Never Ends" and "1985." Between songs and even right in the middle of songs, they would crack jokes and tell hilarious stories that had everyone laughing.
It was petty much what you would expect from a this type of pop punk show though. Pretty relaxed, a lot of jumping around, singing along. All that good stuff.
