Fleet Foxes at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh NC
At the first show back on the road for the “Crack-Up” tour, after Coachella, Fleet Foxes serenaded Raleigh NC with their Grammy nominated indie-folk sound.
The band played a nearly 2-hour long set that featured a mixture of songs from their full discography. The most prominent being songs off of their most recent album “Crack-Up”, which this tour was directly in support of. Each band member showed off their talent by playing multiple instruments throughout the set; whether it be brass instruments, woodwinds, flutes, or taking a bow to their guitars. All the while, vocalist, Robin Pecknold gave a breathtaking performance behind the microphone with others in the band providing harmonies and backups.

A Fleet Foxes performance is such a well put together symphony of sounds and whether you know of Fleet Foxes or not, you will most like hear a song that you’ve heard somewhere in your life. They have such a calming and welcoming sound.
The venue was not sold out, but there was a very good turnout on a beautiful late Spring Thursday night; and the smiles on the faces of the band members showed their appreciation for everyone there.
