The Los Angeles-based Post-Punk duo, known as Polyplastic, has a new EP “Not No” coming out on June 29th. In anticipation for that release, they’ve shared the lead single “Next Slide” as well as a bonus track B-side “Memphian Circles” from the EP via L.A. Record.  The post-punk duo is comprised of Emily Ibarra and Charlie Ellis, has obvious influence from 70’s and 80’s music.

The single has a groove to it that really takes you back in time and you’ll most likely catch yourself moving along with it. “Next Slide” will appear on the upcoming EP, and if it serves as any kind of example of what the rest of the tracks will sound like, you can bet on it that I’ll be adding Polyplastic to my summer playlist.

Along with the “Not No” EP, due out June 29th, the LA duo will be hitting the road in support of their new release. For more information about upcoming tour dates and more information about their upcoming EP, visit the Polyplastic Facebook
