Laura Pergolizzi, or better known as LP, is a singer-songwriter from the ever so diverse New York City. While you may not recognize her name as an individual artists, you have most likely heard some of the songs she has worked on; from more household artists like Rihanna, Cher, and Christina Aguilera.

If you have heard of LP, you've problem sang along to songs like “Into The Wild” or maybe even “Lost on You” from her latest release by the same title. Her incredible songwriting, seemingly inhuman whistling skills, and unique androgynous style set her apart from other artists.

The aforementioned album “Lost on You”, released in mid 2017, has a wonderful soul indie pop vibe that's hard to compare to anyone else. Her voice is something you'd hear from a pure soul singer, at times; while the music is a brilliant twist of indie, pop, and modern blues. The infectious thumping of “Muddy Waters” and the latin pop inspired sound of “When We're High” shows the diversity and the raw talent for songwriting.
